Teambuilding in the blacksmith workshop: why it stays with you

Bowling. Escape room. Dinner at a restaurant. These team-building events have one thing in common — within a week you have forgotten them. The blacksmith workshop is different.

Why? Because you leave with something you made yourself. A physical object that came from a piece of metal, made with your own hands under the guidance of a master blacksmith. That experience stays.

What does teambuilding at BKL Forge look like?

We welcome the group in the workshop, everyone gets an apron and basic safety instructions. Then we go straight to the fire. Each team member tries working with forged material — shaping, hammering, grinding. Some are cautious, some are bold. The results are always surprising and always original.

At the end, everyone leaves with a hand-made object — a hook, a knife, a forged piece of jewellery or a simple decoration. Something they can hold in their hands and say: I made this.
